• Note: The prerequisite for mounting the X-RACK light DirectLock luggage mount is the original Adventure pannier rack, onto which the X-RACK light DirectLock is installed. The Adventure pannier rack is part of the Touring Package but can also be selected as an optional extra.
• The X-RACK light DirectLock luggage mount accommodates, for example:
  • the X-BAG X32 soft luggage bags
  • or the X-CASE X30 Carbon variable panniers with a solid and secure 3-point mounting system
• The model-specific, L-shaped bracket blends discreetly into the bike’s side profile – almost hidden
• The 20 mm precision steel tubing offers reliable mechanical stability – even under full load
• Its low centre-of-gravity positioning ensures:
  • perfect handling and optimal riding safety,
  • a narrow silhouette – ideal when manoeuvring,
  • reduced wind resistance and less buffeting
• Powder-coated in black

X-RACK light DirectLock – low centre-of-gravity pannier rack for perfect handling and a slim profile

The X-RACK light DirectLock luggage mount is designed to carry, for example, the X-BAG X32 soft luggage bags or the X-CASE X30 Carbon variable panniers. When the bags are not mounted, the L-shaped bracket integrates discreetly and almost invisibly into the bike’s side silhouette. With the X-BAGs attached, it remains completely hidden.

The original Adventure pannier rack is required to install the X-RACK light DirectLock luggage mount. This rack is part of the Touring Package but can also be selected as an optional accessory.

The 20 mm precision steel tubing and the 3-point mounting system provide reliable stability – even under the maximum permissible load. During the design process, both structural rigidity and optimised weight were priorities. The X-Rack light allows the X-system luggage to fit closely to the bike’s centre of gravity. This enhances handling, improves riding safety, and maintains a slim profile – a definite advantage in cities, on ferries, or even in your own garage – essentially anywhere where space is tight. In addition, the frontal wind exposure of the soft bags is significantly reduced.
